A daytrip to the History of Spain(in English below)
Se acerca la fiesta anual noruega en honor de la Princesa Kristina, que vino a España en 1257 para casarse con el hermano del Rey de Castilla, y está enterrada en el bonito e histórico pueblo de Covarrubias. Esta es la historia:

El programa del día es este:

Sábado 5
-Salimos a las 10am en Colón (Hard Rock Cafe), metro Colón o Serrano.
-Visita al monasterio románico de Santo Domingo de Silos (2€):

-Recorrido por el desfiladero de la Yecla.
-Llegada a Covarrubias, histórica villa medieval. Paseo por el pueblo.
-Visita de la Colegiata, Claustro y Museo (este día suele ser gratis).
-Picnic junto al río Arlanza, por lo cual cada uno debe ir provisto de su comida. También se puede comer en restaurantes los que quieran, o comprar la comida en tiendas del pueblo.
-Concierto de música pop electrónica con Sandra Kolstad (teclados), Jonas Barsten (batería) y Markus Eide Anskau, gratis.
-Dependiendo de la hora del fin del concierto, visita a la histórica Villa Ducal de Lerma:

-Vuelta a Madrid para llegar sobre las 9 o 10pm.

Dos precios:
20e hasta el domingo 29 de septiembre;
25e después del domingo 29 de septiembre.

Para reservar=pagar: martes y viernes en El Parnasillo del Príncipe, jueves y domingos en Beer Station, sábados en La Fiebre.

The yearly Norwegian festival in Covarrubias is coming, all in honour of the Princess Kristina of Norway, married in Sevilla in 1257, died four years later and buried in that beautiful and historical village. This is the interesting story:

The schedule will be as follows:

Saturday 5th:
-Leaving at 10am: plaza de Colón (Hard Rock Cafe), metro Colón or Serrano.
-Visit to Monasterio de Santo Domingo de Silos:

-Arrival to Covarrubias. Walk on that beautiful medieval town.
-Visit of the Colegiata, Claustro and Museum (usually free that day).
-Picnic by the river Arlanza, so everyone should bring his/her food (or buy the food in the shops in the village). The ones who prefer to have lunch in a restaurant can do so, of course, also buying food in shops.
-Norwegian Concert, for free: Sandra Kolstad (keyboards), Jonas Barsten (drum) & Markus Eide Anskau.
-Depending on the end time of the concert, visit to Lerma

Two prices:
20e until Sunday the 29th;
